The first section of James introduces the necessity of wisdom and its source. God gives wisdom to those who ask for it! But we must trust God's faithfulness to receive it. We need wisdom because we will face trials. The wise and faithful person knows that trials create endurance. Wise people understand the value of a heavenly mindset.
